Welcome to Debut Media.
Debut Media is a brand-new platform created for the modern career woman. It’s home to Debut TV, Debut Podcasts, Debut Events and of course, Debut Magazine.
Born amidst a global pandemic, it’s an exciting new platform publishing content that women all over the world can benefit from. Women’s content has evolved massively over the last few years and we’re proud to have been part of that change via Debut magazine online and in print. The articles we covered challenged the norm and we’ve since been excited to see larger and more established publications update their features and provide women with more substantial, relevant and inspiring content than ever before.
We’re launching at an incredibly challenging yet exciting time and cannot wait to share everything we’ve been working on with you. Have a read about our different platforms below, and how you can take part in shaping the future of women’s content.
Debut TV
Our brand-new YouTube Channel is the place to go for industry insider interviews, behind the scenes content, Debut Worldwide and much more. It’s the go to for anyone wondering what career path to follow as well as looking for information on what different company cultures offer and much more. In line with our content, we will also be covering lifestyle topics that you really want to know about and bringing you tips and tricks on how to navigate everything from money issues to relationships. We are SUPER excited about this and can’t wait to hear your thoughts!

Debut Events
Our networking events just got bigger and better! If you’ve ever been to any of our Debut Mixers you know they’re held at some of London’s most Instagrammable hotspots and this time we’re going nationwide. Our next Mixers will be held in Manchester, Liverpool and London with more UK locations and details to be announced.
We will also be hosting a range of exclusive virtual events for our members as well as Debut Drinks – our brand new members only meet-ups over cocktails/mocktails/smoothies or coffee.
Debut Podcasts
Similar to Debut TV our podcasts will featuring some super talented women and we’ll be discussing all things careers, lifestyle and more.
Debut Magazine
Our baby Debut magazine made its print debut back in 2016 as the UK’s first Careers and Lifestyle magazine for women in the creative and media industries and since then we’ve had an incredible journey! We were stocked in WHSmith’s, Selfridges and Independent stores nationwide. We’ve been fortunate enough to work with women leading the change in the creative and media industries and we’ve had the opportunity to work with some of the UK’s biggest creative and media brands. We are currently digital first, bringing you in depth articles and features you won’t find anywhere else and are currently working to release our brand-new print issue this June!
Debut magazine runs on a contribution basis, it is self-funded, privately owned with no investors and therefore we are not yet in a position to pay our writers or ourselves. It is created to give our readers with little or no experience a platform to develop their writing and grow their portfolio and to bring our readers interesting and valuable free content online.
A note from the Editor-in-Chief…
Debut Media has been a project I’ve been planning for a long time and one of the benefits of having more time due to Covid-19 was that I was able to think about the direction I wanted to take it in and work on it over several months.
We have a brand new website, a brand new strategy and as we prepare to come out of lockdown, a brand new outlook on the future of women’s content. At the moment it is all self-funded (spare cash from my day job) and therefore I am unable to offer monetary payment for any opportunities we have available.
